Paula Mildenhall (nee Morrell) studied A-Levels at City College Norwich from 1984-1986.
Field Trips to Western Isles
Paula tells us that she has many great memories of her time at City College Norwich. These include a field trip to the Western Isles of Scotland!
We were really delighted to hear that she also remembers having “fantastic teachers”. In particular the teachers she remembers were Fenella (who taught her economics), Denise (who taught her geography), Miles (who taught her geography) and Jeremy (who taught her geography/economics).
Woman of the Year!
Since leaving College Paula has had many more achievements!
A fantastic result in that Paula is such an inspiration that she was voted Women’s Own “Woman of the Year”! A great accomplishment we believe as she also went on to complete her Gold Duke of Edinburgh award.
Additionally not content with the above Paula has participated in Operation Raleigh, this is a charitable organisation that connects communities wanting to improve their lives and their environment with passionate people from around the world who want to take positive action.
Paula also went on to complete her Doctor of Philosophy degree at Edith Cowan University and has spent 5 years teaching in Saudi Arabia as well as 16 years living in Australia.
Paula is currently a lecturer at Edith Cowan University in Australia.
