Paula Mildenhall started out doing her A Levels at City College Norwich in 1984 and then the world has been her oyster literally! From Women of the year to a PhD she has made quite an impact!

Bruce Pearson started his Further Education at City College taking his A Levels amongst which one was Art. He recalls the years at college as being most inspirational and he shares a fascinating story of many achievements reflecting on 40 years of travel!
Rosemary Dyer (formerly Booty) studied at City College Norwich from 1973-1975. During this time she studied A Levels in Geography, Sociology and English Literature. She recalls many inspiring teachers and recalls how in Humanities classes she was encouraged to call teachers by their first names!

Starting at college, Rebecca Perry was just 16 years old and initially came to undertake her A Levels. She had an aptitude for education and certainly a passion which still remains with her today. She liked it so much at college that despite some brief interludes with other education providers and employers she hasn’t been able to leave us and is now a very successful Planning and Performance Programme Manager at the college.
Duncan’s story is one starting with communications, lots of photography, travels, the Royal Marines, sailing the seven seas and finally ending where it all began back in Communications. It’s a story full of adventure including him saving the lives of several Nicaraguan fishermen after Hurricane Mitch blitzed its way through the region!
Bethany Plummer studied hard, gaining 3 A’s in her A Levels at City College Norwich before progressing onto UEA Med School. Currently, studying to become a Dr. she also found time for other learning, gaining qualifications to teach kids to ride Quad bikes and Go Karts amongst other things. She is also flying high with something of a travel bug!
Dot Lenton failed her ‘Eleven-plus’ and came to college set on taking three O’Level. Just 3 years later, she left with eleven O’Levels and two A’Levels. Having got the study bug she went on to Teacher training college, before teaching in Norwich & London and eventuality became a head. What an inspiration!
Alex came to City College Norwich in 2009 from Denmark to undertake , so not only a total change in education system but a different language to be taught in! Alex rose to the occasion and proved he was up to the challenge, achieving A’s & A*’s! Now a Master of Physics he is sure to emerge as a shining light in the Science World!
