If you’re a former student of City College Norwich of Further and Higher Education, we want to hear from you!
Your life experiences could help motivate and inspire current students to feel more confident in making decisions about their future.
We’d love you to join our alumni network and stay connected with the college.
We’ve partnered with the national education charity Future First. This charity specialises in helping colleges like ours to stay connected with their former students. Future First helps state schools and colleges to build alumni communities. At the core of their work is the drive to ensure that no young person’s future is limited by their background.
Research shows that access to relevant role models whom they can relate to can transform a young person’s confidence, motivation and skills. Former students can be ideal role models having grown up in the same community. They have sat in the same classrooms and can demonstrate to students that ‘people like me’ do succeed!
This year we aim to run a series of events where current students can meet former students to improve their knowledge of the world of work. It doesn’t matter when you left us, whether you’re in further education or employment, whether you still live nearby or have moved further away, there are still ways you can help.
You can choose how and when you help!
Perhaps you can act as a career and education role model or provide work experience. You may prefer to become a mentor in person or online. If that is not possible then you can help with donations, fundraising or even apply to become a governor.
In order to sign up, just follow this link and fill in the online form. We promise it will only take a couple of minutes!
